Peregrine Relational and Trauma Therapy (LOGO)
How can I help?
Couples
Emotionally Focused Therapy
Build deeper emotional connection, leading to improved relationship satisfaction and long-lasting intimacy by learning to break negative cycles of conflict.

Research shows that 70-75% of couples who engage in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy recover from distress and 90% experience significant improvements (Johnson et al., 1999), making EFCT one of the most effective, evidence-based approaches for strengthening relationships.
Adult Families
Family Therapy
Family therapy as an adult can help heal strained relationships, rebuild trust, and establish healthy boundaries after periods of no-contact, past trauma, or addiction.

Reconnect in structured space to navigate changing roles, shared grief, and unresolved conflict while fostering healthier communication and mutual understanding with your parent, adult children, siblings or other family members.

Only accepting clients age 15+.
Individuals
Trauma & Neurocomplexity
If you're neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism, HSP) or trauma-affected, you might feel exhausted from trying to function in systems that weren't designed for you. As someone who gets neurocomplexity from both professional and personal experience, we can work together to move from survival mode to thriving.

Research shows EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain finally process and release traumatic memories. Controlled studies demonstrate its effectiveness, often working faster than traditional talk therapy. (WHO, 2013; VA/DoD, 2017).

Personally

I'm a cis-gendered hetero white male (he/him) who is married with two children and one dog. After a career in graphic design and video live production, I chose to follow my wife, Amberlee, into the therapy field. I am passionate about learning and from time to time teach psychology classess as an adjunct professor.

I enjoy reading, playing video games, art such as papercraft and painting, and playing boardgames as well as collectable card games.

Professionally

My therapeutic approach is guided by my training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and its focus on Attachment Theory. I operate from a client-centered therapeutic philosophy and believe that my job is to create a safe enviroment and guide my clients as they work to create change and growth in their lives.

I am Advance Trained (Core Skills 1-4, plus additional training and supervision) in EFT. I am also a member of ICEEFT and KCEFT. I am also trained in EMDR and I have level 2 Gottman training.

Neurocomplexity

As a person with ADHD , I am passionate about supporting my clients from a neurodiversity affirming perspective. This simply means that I approach understanding individuals and relationships with the view that not everyone's brain functions in the same way. I have worked with and received specific training on working with many neurocomplexity issues and diagnosis including:

  • ADHD
  • Autism Spectrum
  • Developmental Trauma
  • Highly Sensitive Persons

Your ability to receive attuned care should not depend on your low or high support needs, formal or self diagnosis, childhood or adult diagnosis, or cleanly fitting into the diagnostic critera or norms of behavior.
